2 cps boiling water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cp yellow cornmeal
1 tbsp butter
1 cp diced Swiss cheese
1/4 tsp paprika
fine bread or cracker crumbs
1 - Add the salt to boiling water; sift into it the cornmeal; and cook for 30 minutes.
2 - Remove from the heat; add the butter, cheese, paprika; and stir until cheese is melted.
3 - Spread the mixture 1 inch thick in an oiled pan; when cold cut inti strips.
4 - Dip each into the egg, slightly beaten, and then into the bread crumbs.
5 - Fry in deep fat hot enough to brown a bit of bread in 55 seconds.
