Fricandellen with Spinach
1 cp soft bread crumbs
1/2 cp milk
1 lb gound beef
1/4 cp ground or deviled ham
1 tsp onion juice
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tbsp minced parsley
2 tbsp flour
1 - Combine crumbs and milk and cook to a paste.
2 - Add beef, onion juice, salt, pepper, and parsley.
3 - Form into egg shaped balls, roll in flour, and fry light brown in bacon fat.
4 - Transfer to a casserole.
5 - Pour a gravy over made from the fat left in the frying pan, into which
the flour and 1 1/2 cps of boiling water have been stirred.
6 - Cover; simmer and hour. Serve on spinach.
