1 lb veal cutlet
1 clove garlic
1 cp bread dressing
8 thin slices bacon
8 squares buttered toast
1 - Cut the cutlet into 3" squares and pound with a potato masher to flatten
2 - Rub the inside of the bowl with the garlic and in it make the dressing.
3 - Plce 1 tablespoonful in the center of each square of veal and roll up.
4 - Wrap a piece of bacon around each and tie with a piece of string.
5 - Brown these "birds" quickly in hot fring pan.
6 - Reduce the heat and cook gently until the meat is done and the bacon is crisp.
about 20 minutes.
7 - Remove the strings and serve each "bird" on a square of buttered toast surrounded with tomato sauce.
