1 cp finely chopped left-over cooked veal
3 tbsp shortening
1 - Prepare the biscuit mixture; transfer to a board dusted with flour; and roll to 1/4" thickness.
2 - Spread with 1 tbsp of the shortening stirred to a cream.
3 - Fold over the dough; press the edges together; and roll again to 1/4" thickness
4 - Repeat the process until all the shortening has been used, and the dough has been.
folded and rolled 3 times.
5 - Then roll out the dough in a square sheet 1/2" thick; and divide into quarters.
6 - Place 1/4 cp of veal on each square; moisten the edges of the dough with a little milk;
and fold over the "piroushki" to form a triangle.
7 - Press the edges lightly together.
8 - Place on an oiled shallow pan; and bake in a hot oven for 20 minutes, or until brown on top.
9 - Serve with or without brown gravy.
