Beets in Lemon Buttrer
2 bunches small beets or 1 (No.2) can whole beets
1/4 cp butter
1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 - If fresh beets are used, cut off the tops; and boil the beets in salted boiling water until tender.
2 - Drain; rinse in cold water, and skin and slice the beets.
3 - If canned beets are used, slice and heat in their own liquid.
4 - Melt the butter and combine with the lemon juice.
5 - Pour over the hot beets; let stand a few minutes to season; and serve.
