Sweet Potato and Nut Loaf
3 cps mashed sweet potatoes
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cp syrup
1/3 cp raisins
3/4 cp chopped nuts, any kind
1 - Combine the ingredients in the order give, reserving a few of the raisins and nuts.
2 - Transfer to an oiled baking dish or bread pan.
3 - Sprinkle the top with the reserved raisins and nuts.
4 - Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F. 30 minutes, or until the loaf is brown on top.
5 - Unmould; and serve.
