4 good-sized firm ripe tomatoes
fine dry crumbs
1/4 cp melted butter
1 - Wash and slice the tomatoes; do not peel them.
2 - Dust with salt, dip in the fine dry crumbs and place in a hot oiled broiler.
3 - Broil 6 minutes, turning once when brown.
4 - Dust with a little pepper, sugar, and salt; andpour over
the melted butter while they are broiling.
