Scotch Cheese Pastries
1 pkg cream cheese
4 tbsp butter
1 cp flour
2 tbsp top cream
1/2 cp jam or marmalade
1 - Cream the butter and cheese.
2 - Sift the flour; work in the butter mixture; add the cream; and mix well.
3 - Roll to 1/4" thickness. Shape with a round cookie cutter about 4" in diameter.
4 - et the edges with cold water; put a tsp of marmalade in the center of each;
fold over and press together.
5 - Place on an oiled pan and brush over lightly with slightly beaten egg.
6 - Sprinkle with powdered sugar; and bake in a hot oven, 375 degrees F. for 15 minutes.
