Peach Sponge Shortcake

1 pt sliced sugared peaches
Sweetened whipped cream
1 - Follow the sponge cake recipe, baking part in a layer cake pan for later on
and part in deep cup cake pans for the shortcake.
2 - When baked, cool and split the little cakes.
3 - Place the peaches between the layers of cake and garnish with whipped cream.
4 - To keep the peaches from discoloring, add a little lemon juice with the powdered sugar.
