Chocolate Marshmallow Roll
1 cp sugar
1 1/2 squares (ounces) chocolate, melted
1/4 cp milk
few grains salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 cp cake flour
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 - Beat the egg yolks and sugar until light.
2 - Add the chocolate, the milk and vanilla; then fold in alternately the egg whites, beaten stiff,
and the flour, salt, and baking powder mixed.
3 - Pour into 2 pans and bake in thin sheets.
4 - Turn out on paper sifted over with confectioners' sugar.
5 - Quickly spread marshmallow cream on the cake and roll up like a jelly roll.
