Orange Cream Roll
1 cp sugar
1 tsp orange extract
3 tbsp milk
1 cp cake flourbr 1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
orange cream filling
1 - Beat the eggs until creamy; add the sugar, orange extract and milk; and beat until thick.
2 - Sift the dry ingredients; and fold into the first mixture.
3 - Transfer to a lag=rge shallow pan lined with oiled waxed paper; and bake in a quick oven, 375 degrees F.
for 12 minutes or until firm in then center and brown on top.
4 - Turn onto a clean towl dusted thickly with powdered sugar; and tear off the paper.
5 - Spread at once with cooled orange cream filling, bringing it to within 1/2" of the edge; and
roll up like a jelly roll.
6 - When cool cut a thin slice off both ends to remove the crusts and dust with confectioners' sugar.
