1 cp sugar
1 egg white
1/4 cp water
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 - Combine the sugar, egg white, and water in the top of a double boiler.
2 - Place over hot water and put over moderate heat.
3 - Beat and cook the mixture continually with a rotary egg beater for 5 minutes.
4 - Remove the icing from the heat; and beat in the baking powder and vanilla.
