Dropped Cocoanut Cream Cakes
1 cp sour cream
3/4 cp well drained fresh or canned cocoanut
1 3/4 cps sugar
1/2 tsp salt
4 cps cake flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 - Beat the egg light. Add the cream and cocoanut; and stir in the sugar and the salt.
2 - Sift together the dry ingredients; and beaqt into the first mixture.
3 - Drop by large teaspoonfuls on oiled cooky sheets; and bake in a hot oven, 375 degrees F. about 12 minutes.
