Chinese Nut Cakes
4 cps flour
1 cp sugar
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 tsp salt
3/4 cp shortening
1/4 cp peanut butter
1 - Sift the dry ingredients together in a bowl.
2 - Work in the shortening, peanut butter and eggs until the mixture is thoroughly blended
3 - Place by teaspoonfuls in little mounds on an oiled cooky sheet or pan.
4 - Put 3 roasted peanuts in the center of each.
5 - Bake in a moderate oven, 350 degrees F. until browned, 12 to 15 minutes.
