5 cps milk
4 tbsp quick cooking tapioca
4 tbsp cornmeal
2/3 cp molasses
1/2 cp sugar
2 tbsp butter
2 tsp salt
1 - Scald 4 cps of the milk, add the tapioca; and cook 15 minutes.
2 - Mix together the remaining ingredients; stir into the tapioca mixture; and cook over hot water until thickened.
3 - Turn into a buttered baking dish; cover and bake 3 hours in a slow oven.
4 - Add an extra cup of cold milk at the end of 2 hours.
5 - Serve with top cream.
