1 1/2 tbsp granulated gelatin
3 cps milk
1/2 cp sugar
few grains salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 - Soak the gelatin in the milk; then scald it; add the sugar; and beat the egg yolks slightly.
2 - Pour the milk mixture in; return to the double boiler; and cook like a custard, until slightrly thickened.
3 - Remove from the heat; add the salt and flavoring; and pour onto the egg whites, beaten until stiff
4 - Then pour into inc=dividual moulds, rinsed with cold water; and chill until firm.
