1/3 cp melted shortening
3 tbsp warm water
1 2/3 cps flour
1/3 tsp salt
2 cps well drained chopped canned pineapple
1/2 cp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 - Beat the egg. Add the shortening and water
2 - Pour into the flour and salt sifted, mixing with a knife.
3 - Turn onto a floured board; and knead until smooth.
4 - Let stand1/2 an hour, then roll until very thin; spread the pineapple over the top.
5 - Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon; and dot with a little butter.
6 - Roll up; pinch the edgess together; place on a cooky sheet; and twist to form a ring.
7 - Brushwith additional slightly beaten egg; sprinkle with more cinnamon and sugar.
8 - Bake in a hot oven, 375 degrees F. for 35 minutes.
