Whipped Evaporated Milk
1 small can evaporated milk
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 tsp flavoring extract
1 tsp ganulated gelatin
1 - Place the can of milk in a deep saucepan. Cover with cold water; and bring to a rapid boil.
2 - Chill quickly; turn into a bowl; whip with a rotary egg beater.
3 - Beat in the sugar and flavoring after the milk has become thick.
4 - If to stand more than a few moments before serving, place the gelatin in water barely to cover.
5 - Melt over hot water; and beat into the milk while it is being whipped.
