Ice Cream Sauce
3 tbsp butter
1 cp confectioners' sugar
1/3 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cp chilled sugar syrup
1 - Cream the butter; and gradually work in the sugar, nutmeg and egg yolk, beaten.
2 - Then fold in the egg white, and beat in the chilled sugar syrup.
3 - This is made by boiling together 1/2 cp sugar with 1/3 cp water for 3 minutes.
