Frozen Ice-Cream Cake
2 layers sponge cake
1 pint coffee, caramel, or vanilla ice cream
Ice cream sauce
3/4 cp finely chopped walnuts
1 - Choose squares or oblong layers of sponge cake and cut to fit the freezing tray in the
2 - Line the tray with waxed paper or cellophane. Fit in a layer of cake.
3 - Top with ice cream packing it down smoothly.
4 - Put on a second layer of cake; and freeze for 1 hour.
5 - To serve, slice and pour over ice cream sauce.
6 - SWprinkle with chopped nuts.
