Chocolate Ice Cream
1 1/2 squares chocolate
1 cp sweetened condensed milk
3/4 cp water
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 cp heavy cream
1 - Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler.
2 - Add the coondensed milk; and stir until thick.
3 - Add the water and beat until blended.
4 - Chill thoroughly; add the vanilla; and fold in the cream, beaten until thick.
5 - Transfer to the freezing tray of a mechanical refrigerator; and freeze an hour or so,
or until the mixture is of a mushy consistency.
6 - Remove from the tray; beat with an egg beater until smooth, and return to the freezing tray.
7 - Continue freezing for an hour, or until the ice cream is firm enough to serve.
