Strawberry Bavarian Cream
1 cp washed, hulled and halved strawberries
1/2 cp sugar
1 tbsp, plain gelatin
1/3 cp cold water
1 cp heavy cream
1 - Let tyhe gelatin stand in the cold water 5 minutes.
2 - Combine the strawberries and sugar; and heat to the boiling point, but do not boil.
3 - Add the gelatin and stir until it dissolves.
4 - Set aside to cool; and when the gelatin starts to congeal,fold in the cream, whipped stiff.
5 - Transfer to a mould rinsed with cold water; and chill until firm in the refrigerator.
6 - Unmould; and serve plain, or farnished with whipped cream and sugared strawberries.
