Iced Russian Chocolate
1 pint strong coffee
1 pint milk
2 squares (ounces) chocolate
1/2 c0p sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
few grains salt
sweetened whipped cream
1 - Combine the coffee and the milk; and add the chocolate, which should be grated.
2 - Cook in a double boiler until the chocolate is melted, beating occasionally with an egg beater.
3 - Add the salt and sugar; cook 2 or 3 minutes longer; stir in the vanilla; cover and chill.
4 - Serve very cold with a topping of whipped cream.
