Candied Orange Peel

1 - Cut the orange peel in long, fourth inch strips; put it in a saucepan; cover with cold water; and bring to the boiling point.
2 - Repeat 3 times, then measure the orange peel, packing it in the cup.
3 - Add an equal quantity of sugar and hot water to cover; and cook until the white of the skin is translucent.
4 - Drain from the syrup, roll in granulated sugar and put to dry on plates dusted with granulated sugar.
