1 pint large cranberries
1 3/4 cps sugar
2/3 cp water
1 - Make a syrup by boiling the water and sugar together for 5 minutes.
2 - Add the cranberries and let stand a few hours.
3 - Then cook them gently till clear; drain and put in a large enamel dripping pand dusted with granulated sugar.
4 - Sprinkle a little more sugar over them and dry in a slow oven.
