1 3/4 cps granuklated sugar
3/4 cp corn syrup
1 1/4 cps water
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cp butter
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 - Combine the sugar, syrup, water and salt; and cook without stirring until a little when dropped into very cold water forms a firm ball.
2 - Add the butter, stirring constantly; and boil until a little of the mixture craciks when it is dropped into very cold water.
3 - Remove from the heat; and add the vanilla. Brush the excess sugar and cornstarch from the marshmallows; then using a long pin,
dip them quickly in the syrup covering the entire surface.
4 - Cool on waxed paper.
