Angel Strawberry Bombe
Cut the entire top from 1 angel food cake. Lift off top layer: remove
the center of the bottom layer, leaving one inch of cake at the outer edge,
one inch at center hole and one inch at the bottom thus forming a ring mold.
At serving time fill the hollowed out cake with strawberry ice cream.
Replace top of cake and frost all over with sweetened whipped cream. Serve
on a platter with strawberries heaped around the base of the cake, and a
few on top as a garnish.
