1/4 cp butter
1 cp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cp cake flour
1/4 tsdp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cp pecans, chopped
1 - Blend butter, sugar, and egg, and beat well.
2 - Add vanilla and the dry ingredients which have been sifted together.
3 - Mix well and add the pecans.
4 - Spread in buttered pan, lined on the bottom with wax paper.
5 - Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) until firm and light brown.
6 - Let cool 5 minutes and cut into bars.
