Seven Minute Frosting
2 whites - unbeaten
3 tbsp cold water
1 cp sugar
1 - Cook in a double boiler over boiling water beating constantly with Dover or electric beater, until it stands in peaks.
2 - Add 1/4 tsp cream of tartar and 1/2 tsp almond flavoring or vanilla.
3 - Beat until cool enough to spread.
4 - Frost layers and cover each with freshly grated coconut.
