Stuffing for Baked Fish
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 1/2 cps cracker or bread crumbs
1 tbsp chopped suet
1 tbsp chopped celery
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 - Melt 1 tbsp butter and fry in it 1 tbsp chopped onion.
2 - Soak in hot water 1 1/2 cps cracker or bread crumbs, press them dry and add to the chopped onion.
3 - Put in 1 tbsp each of chopped suet, celery, and parsley; add salt and pepper and a touch of thyme.
4 - Mix well, and after taking fromm the fire, add 1 egg.
