1 cp slted codfish
1 cp milk
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 - Take 1 cp salted codfish, shred it into small pieces and let it soak in cold water, changing the water seberal times.
2 - Heat 1 cp milk; drain the codfish and allow it to cook inn the milk for 10 minutes.
3 - Mix into a smooth paste, 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp flour; stir this into the milk and cook another 10 minutes.
4 - If desired, after the saucepann is taken from the heat, a well beaten egg may be added to the sauce.
5 - Season with pepper and with salt if needed.
