1 cp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1 cp milk
drippings from the roast
1 - Roast beef is particularly good when Yorkshire pudding is served with it.
2 - Take 1 cp flour, 1/2 tsp salt. 2 eggs and 1 cp milk.
3 - Beat the eggs, stir in the milk and add the flour.
4 - Mix well until there are no lumps.
5 - Pour into a hot shallow baking pan, well greased with drippings from the roast.
6 - Bake 1/2 hour, then transfer the pudding under the rack where the meat is roasting to cook 15 minutes more.
7 - Cut into squares and serve with the beef.
