Veal Pot Pie
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 - After cutting the meat into small pieces, pour over it enough boiling water to cover it, skimming when it has begun to boil.
2 - For each pound of meat put in 1 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper and 1 onion.
3 - Let it simmer until the meat is tender.
4 - Thicken gravy with 1 tbsp flour rubbed smooth in 1 tbsp butter.
5 - Serve with dumplings.
6 - Chicken or beef may be used instead of veal.
