Onions and Apples
2 pints onions
3 pints apples
1/4 cp fat
1 tbsp sugar
1 - Peel and slice the 2 pints onions
2 - Pare, core and quarter 3 pints apples.
3 - Let them cook, covered, in 1/4 cp fat for 10 minutes, stirring from time to time.
4 - Season with salt and 1 tbsp sugar.
5 - When the onions are cooked tender, and the apples soft, serve hot.
