6 green peppers
1 1/4 cps cookedm chicken, veal, or ham
1 1/4 cps moistened bread crumbs (or rice)
1 tbsp grated onion
1 cp strained tomatoes
1 - Takd 6 green peppers and, after cutting off the stem end and taking out the seeds, let them
cook for 8 or 10 minutes in boiling salted water.
2 - For the stuffing, use 1 1/4 cps of cooked chicken, veal, or ham, 1 1/4 cps moistened bread
crumbs(or rice), 1 tbsp grated onion, 1 cp strained tomatoes and a little salt and pepper.
3 - Mix well together.
4 - After draining the peppers, fill them with the mixture, set them in a baking dish and sprinkle the top
with buttered crumbs.
5 - Put 1 cp water or stock in the pan and baste peppers with it often.
6 - Bake them for 15 to 25 minutes.
