1 cp rice
1 tbsp salt
1 - Take 1 cp rice, wash well, andn add it slowly to 1 qts boiling water without interrupting the boiling.
2 - The water should contain 1 tbsp of salt.
3 - (New rice will require less cooking than old and will take up less water).
4 - Let the rice boil steadily for 30 minutes or more, until kernels are soft.
5 - Drain well in a colander,m pouring boiling waterm through to set then grains separate.
6 - Dry for a few minutes in an open oven or on then back of the range.
