1 tsp salt
3/4 cp fine hominy
1/4 cp butter
1 tbsp sugar
1 egg (beaten slightly)
1 cp milk
1 - To 1 cp boiling water with 1 tsp salt dissolved in it add by degrees 3/4 cp fine hominy.
2 - Stir continually while it comes to the boiling point.
3 - After it has been boiling 2 minutes, let it continue cooking in a double boiler until
the water has been soaked up.
4 - Stir in carefully 1 cp milk.
5 - When it has been cooking 1 hour, take it from the heat and put with it 1/4 cp butter, 1 tbsp sugar
1 egg (beaten slightly), and 1 cp milk.
6 - Let it bake in a slow oven for 1 hour, in a buttered baking dish.
