Curry of Rice
1 tsp chopped onion
2 tbsp butter
1 cp rice
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp curry powder
1 - In a saucepan cook 1 tsp chopped onion in 2 tbsp butter until the onion turns yellow..
2 - Then add 1 cp well washed rice and continue cooking for 5 minutesx, stirring steadily.
3 - Taking the saucepan from the fire, season the mixture with 2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pepper and
2 tbsp curry powder.and stir in 2 1/2 cps boiling water.
4 - After 10 minutes rapid boiling in the covered pan, continue the cooking, but with slow heat for
about 40 m inutes.
