2 tbsp flour
1 tsp mustard
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
a little pepper
1 egg, beaten slightly
3/4 cp milk
1/4 cp vinegar
1 tbsp butter
1 - Take 2 tbsp flour, 1 tsp mustard, 1 1/2 tbsp sugar, 1/4 tsp salt and a little pepper.
2 - When these have been well mixed, add 1 egg, beaten slightly and 3/4 cp milk.
3 - Then gradually stir in 1/4 cp vinegar, and let the dressing cook over boiling water for
a few minutes until it thickens to the right consistency, stirring without pause.
4 - Just before taking it from the heat stir in 1 tbsp butter.
