2 cps milk
3/4 cp sugar
2 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp salt
1 - Take a pumpkin, stew and strain it.
2 - With 2 cps of the strained pumpkin mix 2 cps milk, 3/4 cp sugar (brown or granulated)
2 eggs (beaten), 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ginger, and 1/2 tsp salt.
3 - Beat all together for 2 minutes before pouring into a pie-plate lined with pastry.
4 - For the first 15 minutes bake in a hot oven, then reduce heat until moderate and bake 45 minutes longer.
5 - Do not allow the pumpkin mixture to boil.
