1/2 cp sugar
1/2 cp butter
1 cp milk
2 cps flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cp fresh huckleberries
1 - After creaming together 1/2 cp sugar and 1/2 cp butter, add to the mixture alternately
milk (1 cp) and flour (2 cps) sifted together with 2 tsp baking powder.
2 - Last stir in a well-beaten egg.
3 - Turn into a greased shallow pan or muffinn tins and bake about 25 minutes in a moderate oven.
4 - In season, 1 cp fresh huckleberries may be added just before baking.
5 - Serve hot with butter
