Baked Creamed Potatoes with Deviled Ham
6 medium-sized Maine potatoes
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 cps milk
1 tsp salt
3 hard-cooked eggs 1 large can deviled ham 2 tbsp fine crumbs
1 - Boil potatoes until tender, then cut in dice.
2 - Melt butter, blend in flour and gradually add milk, stirring until thick and smooth.
3 - Season with salt and pepper and combine with potatoes.
4 - In a greased casserole, arrange alternate layers creamed potatoes, hard-cooked eggs
and deviled ham, having top layer of potatoes.
5 - Sprinkle lightly with crumbs and bake about 20 minutes in a moderately hot oven.(375 degrees)
