1 1'2 cps dry coffee
2 tbsp dry cocoa or chocolate
1 - It is necessary to have a French drip coffee pot and good New Orleans coffee.
2 - Place 1 1/2 cps dry coffee in top (the dripper).
3 - Have ready some boiling water, and pour every 3 or 4 minutes a tablespoon at a time
on the coffee until you have about a pint of coffee.
4 - Never allow this coffee to boil at any time.
5 - Always heat in a double boiler.
6 - In some of the French restaurants of New Orleans, to every pint of hot coffee is
added 2 tablespoons of dry cocoa or chocolate, carefully dissolved.
This is a secret that is usually carefully guarded and never given out willingly.
