Chicken Pie a la Creole
Use recipe for stewed chicken and recipe for biscuits. Line deep pudding pan with dough,
have ready stewed chicken, cold, very important, put in chicken and gravy, roll our top crust
1/8" thick, and bake in moderate oven 25 or 30 minutes. Grease pan well with lard.
This recipe is Creole in origin and is seldom made anywhere but in Southern Louisiana.
