Peach Cobbler II
Follow directions for peach pie but use a deep baking pan instead of a pie plate.
Put 1/2 cp of whiskey in peaches just before you put them in the crust. Serve with the
whiskey sauce given below:
1 cp sugar
1/2 cp whiskey
1/4 tsp nutmeg
2 cps water, hot
1 - Caramel sugar in iron skillet, when light brown add hot water.
2 - Cook until caramel is melted
3 - Pour into serving pitcher, add whiskey spice, and serve hot with hot pie.
