Use recipe for biscuits, cut 8 large apples in quarters, add 1/2 cp water, 2 cps sugar and stew for 1/2 hour
Allow to cool, then roll dough in round pieces larger than a saucer, put spoonful stewed apples, dash cinnamon
a little butter in middle of round dough, fold up tight and place smooth side up in pudding pan until full.
Bake in hot oven. Grease pan with lard
