1 cp sugar
3 eggs, beaten separately
1 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 cp sifted flour
1 - Use Sponge Cake method in mixing.
2 - Bake in square greased pan 1/4 inch thick.
3 - If more dough than this is put in pan the cake will split in rolling.
4 - Take out of pan immediately it is done, spread with jelly and roll.
5 - Sprinkle with reddened sugar, roll a clean dish towel or napkin around it
6 - Slice with very sharp knife when cold
