Southern Cream Pie
1/2 cp sugar
1 1/2 cps, pie cherries
2 cps cherry juice
2 pkgs cherry gelatin
1 cp cold water
6 green cherries
1 cp whipped cream
1 baked pie shell
whipped cream for garnish
1 - Bring sugar, cherries and juice to boil, strain over cherry gelatin,
stir until dissolved, add cold water, chill
2 - Pour a little of mixture into bottom of ring mold, arrange drained cherries
and a few green cherries in cluster design.
3 - Pour in 1 inch of gelatin and chill almost set.
5 - Chill until set.
6 - Unmold into large baked pie shell.
7 - Fill center with whipped cream
