Apple Pie II
Ese raw pie crust made by recipe on this book.
Use 5 large apples to pie. Cut apples in thin slices, use sugar, half cup to every 5 apples.
Put apples, sugar, half cup water in pot and boil slowly 1/2 hour.
Cool thoroughly before putting in pie crust.
Use criss-cross or solid top pie crust, as desired.
Slightly cooked apples make much better pies than raw
