2 cps sugar
4 cps freshly grated cocoanut
3/4 cps water
1 tbsp butter, (level)
1 - Boil sugar and water and butter together until mixture forms ball in
cup of cold water, then put in the grated cocoanut, boil slowly until mixture
forms ball in cold water.
2 - Have greased platters ready, put spoonfuls a few inches apart, allow
to cool, then lift carefully by running a thin knife under each praline.
3 - Some people prefer a few drops of vanilla in the mixture.
4 - If pink pralines are desired, a few drops of red coloring is added.
